Chicago Farmers Markets are back

by Jodie Jacobs
Chicago Farmers Markets are back

Talking about recipes is fun but when looking for garden fresh produce and other ingredients to back those recipes there really isn’t anything to compare with fresh from the farm. Fortunately, outdoor farmers markets are slowly returning to downtown Chicago and city neighborhoods.

The following places and dates are for just what is open now and very early June. See more dates on Chicago City Markets.

This list includes the long-standing, popular Green City Market, started by famed food writer Abby Mandel in 1999. For 2023 GC Markets visit. Calendar Green City Market.
