The prestigious Michelin Guide changed Smyth located in the West Loop, from two to three stars and added other two other Chicago restaurants with one star at a Nov. 7,2023, three-city ceremony that included New York, Washington D.C. and Chicago. Previously Alinea was the only three-starred restaurants in Chicago.
