National Restaurant Show Kitchen Innovation awards

Even though the National Restaurant Show couldn’t take place at Chicago’s McCormick Place due to COVIC-19 restrictions, award judging and other activities have taken place remotely including the 2020 KI awards.

The judges came up with eight awardees for their products’ different approaches to back-of-the-house challenges based on flexibility, space-saving and versatility.

Antunes is an Infinistream Seven-Drawer Steamer.

AyrKing is a MixStir.

Beverage-Air has a cross-temp refrig to freeze storage container.

Blodgett/Middleby has a ventless convection oven

Electro-Freeze Fuzionate is a nine flavor dispenser

Vario-Cooking-Center can automatically adjust to boil, fry, steam and other processes.

MultiServ is a dispensing system for up to five products from NATIONAL.

Star Manufacturing has a ventless induction downdraft.
